Jawara Alleyne is a London based fashion designer recognised for an emotionally charged, concept-driven approach to contemporary dress. A Fashion East alumnus across all three seasons, Alleyne has become a distinctive voice in British fashion, celebrated for fusing sharp tailoring with fluid, expressive construction to explore identity, vulnerability, and power. In 2024, he was nominated for New Establishment Womenswear at The Fashion Awards. His work has been supported through high-profile collaborations, including Converse and Nike, and is worn by leading cultural figures, notably Rihanna, who has cited Alleyne as her favourite designer. Alongside his practice, he teaches on the MA Fashion programme at Central Saint Martins.
